Orion AI Agent
Teach the agent what your business does, set its post schedule, and read the Google posts it drafts before you use them.
The Orion AI Agent writes Google Business Profile posts for a listing, on a schedule you set. It writes only from what it knows about the business, and every post waits as a draft until a person reads it. You copy each one onto your Google Business Profile.
#Before you begin
- The listing must be in DigitPeak. See Add a listing.
- You need the Owner or Editor role to change anything. A Viewer can read the page but not edit it. See People and roles.
- The agent writes about keywords. It writes nothing until the listing has at least one.
#Open a listing's agent
- Open Orion AI Agent in the menu.
- Click the listing.
The list shows three figures for each listing: Writing (the schedule, or Off), Waiting to read (drafts not yet used or discarded) and Knows the business.
The listing page has two cards on the left, The agent and Photo for the post, and the Drafted posts list on the right.
#What the agent knows
Click Teach the agent on The agent card to open What the agent knows. This is everything the agent writes from.
The top block, From the Google listing, shows the name, categories, address, phone, website, hours, price band and rating. You cannot edit these here. To change them, change your Google Business Profile.
Below it are five boxes you can edit:
| Box | What it holds | Where DigitPeak's first version comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Business description | A short paragraph about the business | Your website and your Google description. |
| What you offer | Services and products, one per line | Your website. |
| Worth mentioning | Facts a post may state | Your website, the attributes your listing has on Google, and your hours (for example Open on Sundays). |
| Never mention | Things the agent must never say | Only you. DigitPeak never fills this box. |
| Words their customers use | Phrases your customers use | Your five-star reviews. |
The agent also writes from the Google listing details at the top of the dialog, and from the Keywords set for replies in AI Replies.
#Edit what the agent knows
- Click Teach the agent.
- Change any box. Put one item per line. To add a note to an item, follow it with a dash and the note, for example
Teeth whitening — in one visit. - Click Save changes.
Until you first save, DigitPeak adds new rows when new reviews arrive, and never removes or rewrites one. After you save, only people change these boxes.
Only put things in Worth mentioning that are true today. The agent may state them in a post.
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Business description | 1,200 characters |
| What you offer | 60 items |
| Worth mentioning | 20 items |
| Never mention | 20 items |
| Words their customers use | 40 phrases, 40 characters each |
| Any item | 80 characters, with a note of up to 200 |
#Set the post schedule
Click the top half of The agent card to open the settings.
- In Write about these keywords, enter one keyword per line. Each post is about one of them, in turn. Under the box, From your Map Rank Tracker: offers the keywords you already track. Click one to add it, or Add them all. A keyword clicked here is saved straight away.
- In Write one every, choose from Every day to Every 30 days. The default is every 7 days.
- In Written in, choose the language (see below).
- In Button under each post, choose a button or No button. Every button except Call now needs a link that starts with
http://orhttps://. Call now dials the number on your listing and takes no link. - Optional: click Write instructions to open Your own instructions.
- Turn on Write on this schedule.
- Click Save changes.
The switch cannot be turned on until there is at least one keyword. Once it is on, the line beside it says when the next post is due. The first post is due one full period after you turn the schedule on.
#Language
- Same as your review replies (default): the language set in AI Replies. With replies on Same as the review, posts follow the language of the business description.
- Same as each post's keyword: each post is written in the language of its keyword. Place names and brand names do not count. When the keyword does not settle it, the replies' language is used.
- A specific language from the list.
#Your own instructions
This is a short brief to the agent, up to 600 characters. For example: "Mention that we open on Sundays."
It is the same text as Anything the agent should know? at the end of the setup wizard. A change in either place shows in the other.
For something the agent must never say, use Never mention. It outranks your instructions.
#Write one now
Click Write one now in the settings to see a post straight away. It saves the settings on screen first, then writes one post for the next keyword, in the same way the schedule would. The new draft opens when it arrives. It is dated four days ahead, or the first day after that with room in its week, so you have time to edit it. Change date moves it to another day, and the time beside it sets the hour, in half-hour steps, on your device's clock. Today is open for a time that is still ahead.
Write one now can be used seven times a week on a listing, and the count starts again on Monday. Discarding a draft does not give one back. It is refused when 14 drafts are already waiting.
#Read, edit and use a draft
Drafted posts lists this listing's drafts, newest first. Filter with All, Waiting and Used, and sort by Newest first, Oldest first or Subject A–Z. Each row shows the post's subject, its first line and the day and time it is set for.
Click a row to open the post. The line under the title says whether it is Waiting or Used, the day and time it is for, and the keyword it carries.
- To change the text, edit it and click Save changes. The box stops at Google's limit of 1,500 characters.
- To use it, click Copy text, then paste it into a new post on your Google Business Profile. Copying marks the draft Used.
- To throw it away, click Discard. It leaves the list.
To handle drafts from every listing on one screen, use Post Drafts.
#What the agent will never invent
The agent writes from What the agent knows. A service, delivery option or booking method is mentioned only if it is in What you offer or Worth mentioning. Read every draft before you put it on Google.
#How the schedule works
- Each draft shows the day and time it is for.
- At most 7 posts are written for any one week, Monday to Sunday. Drafts count towards the week they are for, including drafts you later discard.
- When 14 drafts are waiting on a listing, the schedule stops writing. Use or discard some and it carries on.
Writing posts does not use map credits.
#Tag a photo for a post
The Photo for the post card adds a file name, alt text and a geotag to a photo. The photo never leaves your browser.
- Click Tag a photo. The listing needs at least one keyword first.
- If there are several keywords, choose one in Which keyword is it for.
- In What does the photo show, describe the photo in a few words.
- Click Choose a photo and pick a JPEG, PNG or WebP file of up to 25 MB.
- Click Download tagged photo, then upload the file to your Google Business Profile.
The geotag uses Google's coordinates for the listing, or the grid centre from the Map Rank Tracker. If there are none, the photo gets no geotag.
