Connect an AI agent
Connect Claude, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot or another MCP agent to DigitPeak, manage connected agents and personal keys, and set a monthly credit limit for agents.
An AI agent connected to DigitPeak works as you. It reads your projects, listings, rankings, reviews and reports, and does what your role allows on each project. You connect agents on the MCP page, under Integrations in the Maps menu.
#Before you begin
- MCP is on the Pro plan and above. On another plan, the MCP page shows which plan you need and a See your plan button.
- Each person connects their own agents and keys. An agent can do only what you can do: a Viewer's agent can only read. See People and roles.
#Connect an agent
- Open MCP in the menu.
- Under Connect, click Copy beside the Address.
- Click your agent: Claude, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot or Other.
- Follow the steps shown for it. For Cursor, Codex and GitHub Copilot, click Copy under the lines shown and paste them into the file the steps name.
- When the DigitPeak window opens, sign in if asked and click Allow.
The agent then appears under Connected agents, with when it connected and when it was last used.
#Claude
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Click +, then Add custom connector. Name it DigitPeak, paste the address and click Add. Click Connect, then Allow in the DigitPeak window.
#Cursor
Add the lines from the MCP page to ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or to .cursor/mcp.json for one project. When Cursor asks you to sign in, click Allow in the DigitPeak window.
#Codex
Add the lines from the MCP page to ~/.codex/config.toml. Then run codex mcp login digitpeak and click Allow in the DigitPeak window.
#GitHub Copilot
In VS Code, add the lines from the MCP page to .vscode/mcp.json in your project. Click Start above the digitpeak entry, then Allow in the DigitPeak window.
#Other agents
Paste the address into your agent. If it opens a sign-in window, click Allow. If it asks for a header instead, create a personal key and send it the way the MCP page shows under Other.
#Personal keys
Some agents take a key instead of a sign-in window.
- Under Personal keys, type a Name, such as the computer the key is for.
- Click Create key.
- Click Copy beside Your new key and paste it into your agent.
The key is shown only once. After you leave the page it cannot be shown again, so create a new one if you lose it. You can hold up to 20 keys at a time. The list shows each key's name, when it was created and when an agent last used it.
#Disconnect an agent or revoke a key
Click Disconnect beside an agent, or Revoke beside a key, and confirm. It stops working at once. You can connect again at any time.
Changing or resetting your password, or signing out everywhere, also disconnects every agent and revokes every key.
#Agent credit limit
Only the account owner sees this card. Agents can run map scans that cost credits, and the limit is how many credits agents may spend each month across all your listings. The card shows what agents have spent this month.
- Type a number in Credits a month.
- Click Save.
A limit of 0, the starting value, means agents can't run scans that use credits. Credits an agent spends still come out of each listing's own monthly credits. See Credits.
#History
What an agent does on a project is recorded on that project's History page with the agent's name, for example "Claude (via MCP) started a scan of 3 keywords".
