FAQ

Direct answers to the questions new DigitPeak Maps users ask most, about credits, scans, reviews, the GBP audit, reports and your data.

#Google and your listing

#Does DigitPeak post replies or posts to Google for me?

Posts, no. The Orion AI Agent writes post drafts, and you publish them on Google yourself. Click Copy text, paste it into Google Business Profile, and the draft is marked used. If you posted one without copying it from DigitPeak, click Mark as posted.

Replies, on one kind of listing. A listing connected to its Google Business Profile shows Send to Google under a reply draft. On any other listing, click Copy reply, paste it into Google Business Profile, then click Mark as replied.

See AI replies and Post Drafts.

#Credits

#How much does a scan cost?

A scan makes one search for every grid point and every keyword. The cost per search depends on how the scan starts:

How the scan startsCredits per searchReady in about
Scan campaign (you click it)21 minute
The campaign's schedule15 minutes
Before a monthly auto report15 minutes

For example, a 5×5 grid with 4 keywords is 100 searches: 200 credits when you click Scan campaign, 100 on the schedule. The Run a scan dialog shows the exact cost before you click Run scan. See Credits.

#What else uses credits?

ActionCredits
A business search, to find a listing or in the Rank Checker4
Adding a listing9
A Rank Checker or Client Acquisition map (5×5)50, from all your listings together
Discover potential customers60, from all your listings together

Reading reviews, drafting replies and posts, running the GBP audit and making reports do not use credits. The one exception is a monthly auto report set to scan the map first. See Credits.

#When do credits reset?

On the first day of each calendar month. Every listing starts the month with 1,500 credits. Unused credits do not carry over. The reset follows the calendar, not the date you pay. See Credits.

#What happens when a listing runs out of credits?

A scan that needs more credits than the listing has left does not run, and nothing is charged. A scheduled scan that does not fit is skipped. See When credits run out.

#Does removing and adding a listing again give it fresh credits?

No. Credits follow the Google listing itself, so a listing removed and added again keeps what it has already spent this month. Adding it again costs another 9 credits. See Credits.

#Where can I see what my credits were spent on?

Open Query log on your Account page. It lists every search that used credits, with the time, the keyword or search, the listing, who clicked it, and the credits. Scheduled work shows Automatic. The By listing tab adds them up per listing. See Credits.

#Map Rank Tracker

#Why is a keyword empty on my map?

There are three common reasons:

  • The keyword was added after the last scan. Its card on the Keywords tab reads Saved, not scanned yet. It is included in the next scan.
  • You are looking at an older scan that did not include it. The page says That keyword is not in this scan.
  • The business is not in the top 20 anywhere on the grid. Every pin reads 20+ and Out of Top 20 reads 100%.

See Map Rank Tracker.

#Why are some points still loading, grey or missing?

A pin with a blue spinner is still loading. The number appears by itself; you do not need to scan again. A point with no result shows no pin on the heatmap and a grey cell in the small grids on the Competitors tab. See Heatmap metrics.

#How do I know a scan or a report is finished?

The notifications bell at the top of the page tells you. Every finished map scan and every new report appears there for everyone on the project, whether it was started by hand, by the tracker's schedule or by an auto report. A blue dot marks what is new since you last opened the bell. Click one to open that listing's tracker or reports.

#Can I scan every day?

Not on a schedule. A map scan can repeat weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly by day of week or by date. You can click Scan campaign whenever you like. See Map Rank Tracker.

#Why is my Share of Voice low even where I rank first?

Share of Voice is a share of the attention at each point, split among all the businesses Google shows there. The shares at a point add up to 100%, and the other businesses in the top 20 always take part of it. Ranking first on every point reads about 27.8%. Compare your figure with your competitors' on the Competitors tab rather than with 100%. See Heatmap metrics.

#GBP Optimization

#Why didn't my GBP score change?

Opening GBP Optimization shows the last audit exactly as it ran. The score changes only when an audit runs again: when you click Run the audit or Re-run the audit, or when the Repeat schedule runs it. Running the audit uses no credits.

Two kinds of check never move the score: Recommendations, and checks that could not be run. See GBP Optimization.

#Reviews

#Why is a review shown in another language?

DigitPeak shows each review as the reviewer wrote it. When Google has an English translation, the translation comes first, labelled Translated by Google, with the reviewer's words under Original.

If your replies come out in a language you did not expect, check Language in the reply settings. Choose a language writes every reply in one language. Same as the review matches each review, and uses the language you pick for reviews with no words. See Review Management.

#Why does the review count differ from what DigitPeak has read?

Total Reviews is Google's own count for the listing. DigitPeak keeps a review Google has removed, but leaves it out of the figures; the card then says how many are no longer counted by Google. See Review Management.

#Reports

#Can I edit a report after sharing it?

Yes, for how it looks and what it says. You can turn sections on and off, change the settings, edit the message and next steps, and type in figures. The share link always shows the report as it is now, so your changes appear there too. A figure DigitPeak has put in a report does not change once it is there. A report about September says the same thing in November.

To turn a link off, click Stop sharing. The old link then shows that it is not active. Sharing again creates a new link. See Reports.

#Do I type in calls, direction requests and views?

No. A report for a connected listing takes them from its Performance figures, and they do not change once they are in the report. A figure with nothing behind it is left out, never shown as zero. See Reports.

#Your account and data

#What happens when I delete a listing?

Only the project's Owner can delete one. Open the gear on the listing's card on the Dashboard, choose Settings, then click Delete listing. DigitPeak removes everything it holds for that listing: the map campaign and its scans, reviews, reply drafts and settings, the agent's knowledge and post drafts, audit keywords and score history, its website, and its reports and share links. The Google listing itself is untouched.

Some records stay: the credits it has spent, its entries in the Query log, and the project's record of who did what. You cannot undo a delete. Adding the listing again starts it clean. See Dashboard.

#Is my data shared?

Only with the people you invite. Access is held by the project, so anyone invited to a project, or to any campaign in it, can see every listing in that project. An Editor can make changes and a Viewer can only read. Your Client Acquisition leads and Rank Checker checks are shared with everyone on any of your projects. If another DigitPeak account adds the same Google listing, it has its own copy, and its scans and credits never mix with yours.

A report share link is the one exception: anyone holding the link can open that one report. Share links are hidden from search engines, and Stop sharing turns a link off. See People and roles.
