Listing Management
See every directory and social network a business can be listed on, mark what is done, add your own citations, and compare your website's details with Google.
Listing Management shows one row for every place a business can be listed: Google, map apps, social networks, citation sites, web directories and pages that link to the business's website. Each row has a status, and you work through them one by one, or many at a time.
#Before you begin
- You need a listing in DigitPeak. See Add a listing.
- To change a status or add a citation, you need the Owner or Editor role. A Viewer sees the table but not the status menus or Add manual citation. See People and roles.
- For the User Suggestions tab, run a Website Audit of the business's site.
#Open a listing's directories
- Open Listing Management in the menu.
- Find the listing. Each card shows Active, To-do and Directories, and how many were found by DigitPeak and how many added by you.
- Click the listing's name to open it.
The page has two tabs: Listings and User Suggestions.
Every listing is checked again once a month, on the day it was added. Checked at the top of the table shows the date of the latest check.
#The table
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Directory | The directory's site. Click it to open the directory, for example to set up a profile there. |
| Backlink | ✓ the profile links to your website. — no link found. |
| Last update | When the row was last checked. Hover the date to see whether the page shows your name, address and phone. |
| Status | The row's status. Click it to change it. |
| Your entry | Opens your profile on that directory. |
The directories are:
- Google Business Profile, and Waze, Gemini, Where To? and Siri, which show the Google or Apple Maps listing
- Bing Places, Hotfrog, Infobel, infoisinfo, acompio, Tupalo, Navmii
- GPS Data Team, 2FindLocal, Express Business Directory, Crunchbase
- Brownbook, Fyple, Infignos, Foursquare for Business, MapQuest, Apple Maps, Manta, Storeboard, Dosula

- Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, Pinterest, TripAdvisor, Yelp
- Wikipedia, Wikiwand, HandWiki, PinkBazaar, SuperAGI, Apps Run The World, c99.nl
Any citations you add yourself appear in the same table.
#What each status means
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Your profile is there: found by DigitPeak, or added by you. |
| Processing | DigitPeak is checking it right now. |
| To-do | Not set up yet. |
| Lost | The profile page is gone, or you marked it lost. |
| Ignored | You chose to skip it. It is left out of every count. |
The number in the middle of the ring, Possible listings, is how many rows are To-do or Lost.
#Change a status
- Click the status on a row.
- Choose from the menu:
- Mark as Done: DigitPeak checks the directory straight away. The row shows Processing, then Active when your profile is found. If it is not found, the row shows Not found with Add link: paste the address of your profile there and click Save.
- Mark as To-do, Mark as Lost or Mark as Ignored.
- On an Ignored row, Mark as Active or Mark as To-do brings it back.
A row with a small amber dot in its status is a possible match: a page that may be yours. It shows your business name but not your address or phone, or, on Instagram and Facebook, it uses the same name as your other profiles. Hover the dot to see which, and open the page with the link under Your entry. From the status menu, choose This is mine to make the row Active, or Not mine to remove the suggestion. A page you call not yours is not suggested again, and the row stays To-do with Add link.
#Add a link to your profile
Where a row offers Add link, click it, paste the address of your profile on that directory and click Save. The address must be on that directory's own site. DigitPeak then checks the page for your business name and address. If the name is missing, the row shows Business not named on that page; if the address is missing, Address not found on the page.
Apple Maps and Siri are one listing. Mark Apple Maps and Siri follows it.
#Add a manual citation
Add a directory the table does not list.
- Click Add manual citation at the top of the page.
- Enter the directory's domain, such as
example.com. - If your business is already listed there, paste the address of the listing into Link to your listing. It has to be on that domain.
- Tick It links to your website if the listing has a clickable link to your site.
- Choose a status: To-do, Processing or Active.
- Click Add directory.
The directory is added to the table with its own row. With a link, DigitPeak checks it like any other row. To take it out again, click its status and choose Remove.
A directory that is already in the table cannot be added twice.
#Search, filter, sort and export
- Type in Search directories to show only the rows whose name or site matches.
- Click a chip above the table (All, Active, Processing, To-do, Lost, Ignored) or a band in the ring to filter the table. Each count is the number of rows that filter shows.
- Click the Directory or Status column heading to sort.
- Click the export button at the end of the chip row and choose PDF or CSV. The export holds the rows currently on screen.
The CSV has the columns Directory, Site, Status, Backlink, Name, Address, Phone, Website and Link. PDF, and Export as PDF at the top of the page, open your browser's print dialog. Choose "Save as PDF" there.
#Compare your website with Google
The User Suggestions tab compares the business name, address, phone number and website your site states with the Google listing. Your site's details come from the last Website Audit. Each difference, or detail missing from your site, is one row with On your website, On Google and an action.
- Open the User Suggestions tab.
- Read each row under New suggestions.
- Click Approve or Reject to file it. Click Undo to send it back to New.
Approve and Reject only record your decision. Make the fix on Google or on your website, then run the Website Audit again.
To give someone access, an Owner uses Share on GBP Optimization, or the gear menu on the listing's Dashboard card. Access covers the whole project, not one page. See People and roles. To send someone the list itself, export it as a PDF or CSV.
