Website Builder
Build a free website for a listing at name.digitpeak.net from its Google profile, reviews, posts and your own photos, and publish or unpublish it.
The Website Builder gives each listing a free website at an address like yourbusiness.digitpeak.net. The site is written from what DigitPeak already holds about the listing: its Google profile, its reviews, the posts you have used, and photos you upload. Building, previewing and publishing it costs no credits.
A new site starts as a draft. Nobody can see it until someone on the project clicks Publish.
#Before you begin
- The listing must be in DigitPeak. See Add a listing.
- You need the Owner or Editor role to change or publish the site. A Viewer can open the preview but not change anything. See People and roles.
#Open a listing's website
- Open Website Builder in the menu.
- Click the listing.
The page is a set of cards: Your website, Look and language, Contact buttons and tracking, Social media, Text and Photos. One Save changes button at the bottom of the page saves every card. Photos and the logo save as soon as you upload them.
#Choose the address
The address is filled in for you from the business name. To change it:
- In Your website, edit Address.
- Click Save changes.
An address has 3 to 40 lowercase letters, numbers or hyphens, and starts and ends with a letter or number. Some names, such as www, admin and digitpeak, are reserved. An address another site uses is taken.
Changing the address of a published site moves it. The old address shows Site not found from then on.
#Preview the site
Click Open preview. The site opens in a new tab with a banner saying it is a preview. Below the button there is one button per page, to open that page directly.
The preview is only visible to people signed in to the project. It is not indexed by search engines and does not send visits to your tracking.
#Publish and unpublish
- In Your website, click Publish.
- Wait about 30 seconds, then open the address shown next to Live at.
The badge on the card changes from Draft to Published. To take the site down, click Unpublish.
Publish and Unpublish also save any other changes you have made on the page.
#What the site contains
| Page | When it appears | What is on it |
|---|---|---|
| Home | Always | Name, headline, contact buttons, your first photo or logo, About, Why choose us, up to 6 reviews, up to 6 more photos, the 3 latest posts, address, hours and a map |
| Blog | When at least one post has been used | Every post you have used, each with its own page |
| Reviews | When at least one review qualifies | Up to 60 reviews and your Google rating |
| Photos | When you have uploaded photos | All your photos |
| Contact | Always | Contact buttons, address, phone, hours, social links and a Google map |
| Privacy Policy and Terms | Always | General text, linked from the footer |
Every page has a header with the business name, a WhatsApp button (or a Call button when there is no WhatsApp number), a footer with contact details and hours, and Powered by DigitPeak. On a phone, a bar at the bottom of the screen holds the contact buttons.
The published site also has a sitemap and lets search engines index every page.
The Privacy Policy and Terms pages are general. Read them and check they fit your business before you publish.
#Where the text and photos come from
| On the site | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Business name | Name on the site, or the name on Google when that is empty |
| Headline under the name | Headline under the business name, or your Google category and town when that is empty |
| About | Your Google Business Profile description. Only when the listing has no Google description, the Business description the Orion AI Agent holds. |
| Why choose us | Why choose us, or the first 8 items in the agent's Worth mentioning list when that is empty |
| Reviews | Google reviews that have four or five stars, at least 20 characters of text, and are still on Google. Owner replies are not shown. |
| Rating | Your Google rating and review count |
| Blog posts | The agent's drafts that were copied or marked as posted. The post's subject is its title. |
| Address, phone, hours, map | Your Google listing |
| Photos | Only the photos you upload here. Google's photos are never used. |
When the listing has no Google description, the Text card shows Edit description, which opens the same What the agent knows dialog as the Orion AI Agent page. Otherwise, to change the About text, change the description on your Google Business Profile.
#Set the look and language
On Look and language:
- Name on the site: up to 60 characters. Leave it empty to use the name on Google.
- Site language: the language of the site's own words, such as buttons, headings and the footer. Your description, reviews and posts are shown as they are, not translated. A new site starts in the language of your Google description. If your description is in a different language from the site, the card offers a button to switch.
- Brand colour: the colour of buttons and highlights across the site.
- Logo: click Upload logo. It shows in the header, the footer and the browser tab. A square PNG with a transparent background, at least 400 × 400 px, works best. It is resized to 512 px and must be under 600 KB after that.
#Add contact buttons and tracking
On Contact buttons and tracking:
- WhatsApp number: include the country code, for example
+61 4…. A local Indonesian number starting with0is converted for you. With a number, WhatsApp becomes the main button on the site. - Google Tag Manager ID: looks like
GTM-XXXXXXX. - Meta Pixel ID: a number of 10 to 20 digits.
Clicks on Call, WhatsApp and Directions are sent to Google Tag Manager as aerion_call, aerion_whatsapp and aerion_directions, and to Meta as Contact. Tracking runs only on the published site, never in the preview.
On Social media, paste a link or the handle for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube or X. A link must be on that network's own website. The icons show under the contact details and in the footer.
#Add photos
- On Photos, optionally type What the photos show, for example
treatment room. - Click Add photos and choose one or more JPEG, PNG or WebP files, up to 25 MB each.
Each photo gets a descriptive file name and alt text. A site holds up to 12 photos. The first one leads the home page. Click Remove under a photo to delete it.
#Local business markup
The home page and the Contact page carry LocalBusiness markup, which tells search engines the business's name, address, phone, hours and location. It is built the same way as the Local Schema Builder. On the published site it also includes the site's own address, your logo and first photo, your social links, and directory listings that DigitPeak has checked carry your name and address. It never includes your star rating, because Google does not show review stars that a business marks up on its own site.
#When a site is not available
Anyone who opens a site address with no published site behind it sees a Site not found page. It lists possible reasons: the site was removed, the link is broken, or the site moved to a new address. The same page appears when:
- The site has never been published.
- The site was unpublished.
- The address was changed.
- The listing was removed from DigitPeak. Removing a listing also deletes its site settings, logo and photos.
- The project's Owner no longer has access to DigitPeak Maps.
